title

It is possible to make good money tremendously with trading forex, stocks, and even alternative investments linked to wine and land. However, it must be noted that money (your savings) can be lost to scams, fraud, inexperience, emotions and stupidity. One good reason that with all the knowlegde that i have and i am still not rich or a millionaire is probably due to stupidity and inexperience. Profits need discipline to lock in and earning should be done in modesty. It is not the knowlegde that counts, it is the experience. Let us all make a living out of trading and learn to earn ourselves the luxury that we all deserves, just because we dare try.

Riping the INTERNET MONEY

It is amazing how money can be made from just about anywhere.

The lastest trend in wealth creation are INTERNET MONEY as they would like to call it. It is most commonly achieved through internet MLM, advertising, or even gambling.

But nothing compares to this!
PAYPERPOST!

These guys actually pays you to write your blog or site articles. And some of the guys i know are earning from $300 - $21000... amazing really.
It is not hard to imagine why advertisers are moving from just plain display of ads to displaying of thier products or service through posts... which are more commonly read by visitor compared to plain or fancy adverts.

People turn away from pop-ups and advertisements stuck and plastered all over the site.
It is a common fact that a normal internet user would click at least once on a website which he or she visits. And actually reads alot more posts compared to click.

i mean, you guys are here to read and learn, not click and let others earn.

I mean, Payperpost actually pays blogger to blog. Not just pays blogger to plaster their website over with advertisements, which may or may not bring away the attention of your readers.

People, remember why you actually start blogging? it is to bring your views to the world and definitely not bring the world to your adverts.

UK land SCAM firms closed down

Land banking SCAM firms caught

The High Court has ensured that three companies implicated in an investment land scam have been wound up, it has been revealed.

The three companies

Townfield Land Investments
Southwold Site Management
Libertas Land

these company were found selling land to investor for up to 50X of the actual value. This is a internet firms and was dependent on the LAND solely owned by Heritage Coast, which is totally not available for development.

Hence buying those land at 50X the value?
Dumb.

People who are intending to go into LandBanking might want to reconsider. even if the company promise you returns and already cheap price.

ITS ILLEGAL to promise RETURNS in LANDbanking!

TOP Myth of UK land InvestO!

Myth Number ONE!
- They are running out of land and the rural area available for sale is going to get developed and the money is going into my pocket IF i buy the rural plots now!

The truth - Yes, they are running out of space but no one is going to develope a rural unbuilt area that is available to you. Developer usually choose barn yard or old farm which is semi built up! You aint going to get those money!

Myth Number TWO!
- The rural area is running out as people are buying up the plots! the government will start changing their policy soon! so act now!

The truth - they already have enough rural land designated and reserved for development, those under sales by land brokers are usually damn far off from being developed... and policy will not change until all the reserved land is being used up. Guess before that time comes, people who bought the plot would have already gave up.

Myth Number 3!
- A site that is bought by many small investor is equally competitive as a site that is owned by a single land banker! so small investor like us has nothing to fear!

The truth - BULLSHIT! Bigtime Uk land developer usually has their own land banker with land reserved many years ago and are slowly leasing them out for profits. Only small time developer which is lacking of funds and network would result in seeking out such site owned by so many small investor, going through so many contracts and requirement just to get one site.

Myth Number FOUR!
- LAND investment is like Stocks. It is proved to earn money!

The truth - Yes yes they always say UK land has rapidly raised 100-500% since 5 or 10yrs ago... but those arent really statistics... your toilet paper cost 100-500% more too. its infaltion people... its a number game... =)

Myth number 5!
- The worth of Land is flying! We must grab the chance now!

The truth - YES! there are lands that price soar like eagle in the sky! BUT U CANT OWN THEM! haha.
these soaring priced land are owned by landbankers in UK that they latched to, with permit and plans to be developed by government or developers. The land they try to sell you are of argricultural value, its for growing veggies if you didnt catch my drift. People dun grow veggies no more.

AWI wine VS UAG wine!

AWI vs UAG

WHO IS BETTER?
WHO EARNS MORE?

This is the most recent email i received from a AWI broker about the wine performance and was said to be proven.

some of the result was alarming 125%... haha... thats like doubling your 10K to 20k, doubling your money.

AWI broker are very accomodating and i duno if they are really that nice. UAG broker sucked, they are friendly and cool with you before they sell you your first portfolio. Then they try to push you with more portfolo so they can suck whatever is left of you.

Then after awhile, my UAG broker seems to dissappear until you email him saying you need to know something of great importance... haix

but i still receive info about UAG and at least know they are legit company...

AWI are still pending in my list of investments...
but till now, they seem to be a better choice.

FXCM US MANAGED ACCOUNT PERFORMANCE

A US dollar MANAGED ACCOUNT BY FXCM.

This is my personal portfolio of FXCM MA. Will be loading results weekly to track its performance.

Currently, due to the fact that i wasnt inflicted by FXCM Jan and Feb 08 disasterous RED results. My account is relatively better than the € dollar account i've posted previously.
*note: All profits from previous months had been religiously withdrawn. Hence every month starting balance will be approximate 6000USD.

€ FXCM MANAGED ACCOUNT PERFORMANCE

Closed Trades: 48Net
PnL: -25.23Open
Trades: 23
Floating PnL: 10.61
Opening Balance: € 5,076.83 (12Jan2008)
Current Balance: € 4500.97 (-11.3%)
Current Equity: € 4511.58 (-11.1%)

This result is based on an account opened on 12jan2008. Can refer to fx245.com

Why Open Ovesea Accounts?

When a person bank in your own country, let say Singapore for example,

you take a substantial risk. You must know this. Even worse, your funds are not secure from unauthorized withdrawal. We assume a situation where you owe tax bills which you are trying to proof invalid, for any reasons.

BUT! Now, in most of the modern Western democracies, it's a simple matter for the government to seize the funds from your domestic bank account that is tied to your name.

One day you have $10,000 in there - and the next day you don't.

(THE GOVERNMENT CAN EASILY GO INTO POSB, OCBC, CITIBANK,UOB or wadever to pull the money out)

Secondly, most Western nations now get the banks to do their tax collecting for
them. This is done by automatically deducting a withholding of tax
on any interest earned. As such, our domestic banks are tax agents and put the
government's interests above you- the client, who pays them!

Opening an offshore bank account puts your funds out of harm's way. If you had
$10,000 in an offshore account, your own government could not touch it at all
automatically. And if you are banking in a place where there is no tax charged on
interest, then your funds are growing faster- without any withholding taxes
being applied at source.

Thirdly, an offshore bank account gives you more financial privacy - something
in great demand in this increasingly regulated world. Lastly, there's the flexibilty that comes with having more than one bank account in more than one country.

This strategy allows you to hedge your bets and keep your cash in dispersed locations.

Determining Where You Will Invest

There are several different types of investments, and there are many factors in determining where you should invest your funds.

Of course, determining where you will invest begins with researching the various available types of investments, determining your risk tolerance, and determining your investment style – along with your financial goals.

If you were going to purchase a new car, you would do quite a bit of research before making a final decision and a purchase. You would never consider purchasing a car that you had not fully looked over and taken for a test drive. Investing works much the same way.
You will of course learn as much about the investment as possible, and you would want to see how past investors have done as well. It’s common sense!

Learning about the stock market and investments takes a lot of time… but it is time well spent. There are numerous books and websites on the topic, and you can even take college level courses on the topic – which is what stock brokers do. With access to the Internet, you can actually play the stock market – with fake money – to get a feel for how it works.
You can make pretend investments, and see how they do. Do a search with any search engine for ‘Stock Market Games’ or ‘Stock Market Simulations.’ This is a great way to start learning about investing in the stock market.

Finally, speak to someone you trust. Not just your finiacial planner whose only aim is to sell you stupid insurance scheme that rips you off to feed themselves.

Speak and get advice from people from as many walks of life as you possibly can find.

It is best to hear from all types of people and gather all views.
you will nv know someone actually lost in certain investments.

Assets that Soaks Well, in worth'

A typical 30-something's investment portfolio may feature shares, unit trusts and property. But for Kong Fook Keong, 37, a project manager in an IT company, his portfolio reads 30 per cent stock, 70 per cent wine.

'I started buying a little at first, $2,000 to $3,000 worth, to get a feel of the investment,' he said. 'It seemed like a good investment, especially since I've been burnt on the share market before.'

Having been drinking wines for five to six years, and having completed wine tastings and appreciation classes, Mr Kong was quite receptive when Australian Wine Index (AWI), which provides fine-wine sourcing and investment advice, talked to him about an 'investment strategy' for wines.

His first label - a case of Torbreck Descendants 2001 - was followed by Parker Terra Rossa First Growth 1999, then Clarendon Hills Astralis 2000. He's since sold off the Parker and Clarendon for about 10 per cent profit, Mr Kong says - 'not bad for a one-year investment,' he reckons.

With some $80,000 invested in wines now, Mr Kong is redefining 'liquid assets'. 'At least they are tangible investments, and if I don't sell it, I can always just drink it,' he quips. Mr Kong is part of a growing breed in Asia, says AWI. The Sydney-based company, set up in 2002, moved its base to Singapore in 2003 because it saw growing demand in wine buying and collecting in Asia.

'We act as a brokerage for our clientele, accessing premium, rare, hard-to-source vintage Australian boutique wines for them,' says Justin Alexander, 33, who used to be a private-client stockbroker in London.

Starting off as a wine lover and avid collector himself, he met like-minded Jeremy Kasler in Sydney and set up AWI. Demand for Australian was unbottled some 10 years ago with influential critic Robert Parker giving strong recommendations for Australian labels like Penfolds Grange, says Mr Alexander. 'Since then, we've seen a growing band of cult, boutique wines emerge,' he says.

Wine investing isn't really the same as dabbling in shares or property, Mr Alexander says, but 'it is one area which is showing healthy returns.'

I got alot of INVALID CLICKS!

i think i might be banned by adsense soon if the invalid clicks on my blog keep coming up..

i suspected someone has been clicking on my ads... haha

maybe its a good smaritian trying to earn revenue for me... but then again, its INVALID!

Coping with Financial Mistakes and Setbacks

Technorati Profile

how does a person cope with finiacial mistakes and setbacks?

i guess if anyone decides to take a stop into the investing world, he or she has to be prepared to part with their hard earned money someway or another.

no investment is safe in this world. even if u leave your money in the bank, the bank can collaspe somehow and take your life saving with it. THAT is why it is not even recommended to put all your savings with a single bank.

there is nothing 100% safe out there in the finacial world, somebody's profit is another lost.

remember this.

i like to take money out of these people's pocket. =)

Why FINE WINE investments?

Fine Wine Investment Advice
There are two major reasons to invest in wine:

Firstly as an investment in future drinking - buying young wines at the initial release price which, when mature, would be considerably more expensive to buy.
As a strictly financial investment - buying wines with the sole intention of reselling later for a profit.
For many people who keep a cellar, both factors will influence investment.

The global demand for fine wine, which is produced in very small quantities, has increased enormously over the last two decades. Wine can, and often has, outperformed the FTSE 100 and the Dow Jones, offering significant returns without the volatility of the stock market.

Wine Prices
Using the data available in Wine-Searcher's database we have looked at the change in prices of first growth Bordeaux over the period June 2001 to June 2006. Generally, the data shows that:
even in the best vintages, prices of individual wines rise at a different rate.
the absolute price of the same wine differs substantially across vintages, even for vintages which are considered to be equivalent in quality.
prices of wines, whilst generally showing a rise, can also fall.
Below are examples of some first growth Bordeaux vintages:

1982 Bordeaux
The 1982 vintage is described as 'exceptional' throughout Bordeaux and is the vintage of 80s. The wines are now mature.
Table 1: 1982 Vintage First Growth Bordeaux. Price Per Bottle in USD between June 2001 and June 2006

Prices have increased over the period, by as much as 123% in the case of Ch. Lafite (the lowest growth rate is Ch. Margaux at 58%). However, it should be noted that not all the wines have increased in value at the same rate.

1990 Bordeaux
1990 was a large (one of the largest crops ever harvested in Bordeaux) and successful vintage.
Table 2: 1990 Vintage First Growth Bordeaux. Price Per Bottle in USD between June 2001 and June 2006

The price increases are less variable between the wines than the 1982 vintage. The biggest rise, the Ch. Haut Brion, rose by 90%. The Ch. Latour, on the other hand, shows a rise of only 41%. Note that the overall price of the wines is lower for the 1990 vintage than it is for the 1982.

Wine Futures
Wine Futures (also known as "En Primeur") refers to buying wine after it is made, but before it is bottled. Cask samples of wines are made available for tasting to wine journalists and large wholesale buyers in the spring following the vintage. The brokers and merchants sell on the wine to their customers. The wine is generally bottled and shipped around two years later.
In good vintages, wine futures can offer the investor the greatest return; the initial release prices are usually the lowest at which the wines will ever be sold. However, when buying wine futures it is strongly recommended that you deal only with established and reputable retailers and importers.

personally i own 24 bottles of Penfolds Granges 2002 at the price of $530/btle which was risen from the price of $480 over the previous years. A more complete review will be posted soon.

DO what the BIG BANK do!

Stocks, forex or commodities are mostly affected by News. News can be credit reports, housing reports, company audits, future reports, or even talks by funny people in the world.

ie, Warren Buffett can move the stock market so much by just saying he likes a certain company. Millions will rush into buying up that stocks. Which becomes the reason why the price goes up.

back to forex,
there is always news coming...

ie) EUR - German Ifo Business Climate Index
NZD - credit card spending y/y
CHF - consumer indicator
USD - Richmond Fed Index
JPY - Trade balance
USD - Existing home sales

RED means will move market abt 50-100pips
Orange means about 25-50pips
yellow means 5-10pips. (not recommended)

this are just examples of News that will move the news.

By acheiving the fastest feeds to this news, u can actually trade the market like the big bank!

as mentioned before, 50-100pips could means $500-%1000 profits every time with standard lots.

FOREX predictor- Let us bring FOREX to its knees!

There had been many softwares selling in forums and many other websites, all stating that their software can make you RICH!

BE ADVISED: Please only buy such product if you trust the author or personally know people who had actually got their hands on it.
"PM me if you are yearning to buy a certain Forex software and need advise"

anyway, i've recently made purchase of a FOREX software that comes with a spreadsheet calculus. (i shall not review the name of the product, cos i aint going to get paid for adverts, YET)
haha

Back to the product, it uses simple methology of calculus and based on the PRICE of the weekly price movements, it actually PREDICTS the market for the next week!

of course, when i bought the product yesterday, i immediately backtested it.

5weeks ago - 50pips profit
4weeks ago - NO HIT -almost hit short position- will lose 50pip.
3weeks ago - 50pips profit - could had made alot more.
2weeks ago - 50pips profit - barely finished at the TP.
1week ago - NO HIT -almost hit long position - will lose 30pips.

all position based on 60% trailing stop and 50-50 risk.

all based on USD/JPY cross over the last 5weeks. Not bad, 150 profits. which could means
a $1500usd earnings if you play with a standard lot.

more review of this product will follows.

Land International - Buy land cheap cheap?

Now you have the opportunity to do the samePurchasing your own plot of land through Land International enables the shrewd private investor to emulate the fortunes that have been made by developers without tying up huge sums of money that is normally needed.

Licensed by the Office of Fair Trading, UK (Licence No. 568754)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

sounds like a good investment IF u have a easy cash of $15000 to set aside now.
Not bad a deal... but personally i would not try with such investment especially when you
cannot see or feel the LAND.. haha

the title deed is a good thing to have. Not many people actually OWNS a land.

but thinking again, how much land can a person hold with $15000 in UK?
and will any developer would buy such a small peice of land?
wad for?

we will be following up on this investment closely....
